| The Blue Lion Story The stirrings of an idea for the Blue Lion Coffee House arose in the coffee houses of Europe. It was there that David Taylor's dream of delivering quality coffees and traditional coffee house desserts and food for this corner of Indiana emerged. The best and freshest coffee products are made available by choosing the finest beans and roasting them in-house on demand. In our efforts to protect the environment and to discourage human exploitation of the natural environment we seek to purchase organic, shade grown green coffee beans. Incidentally the beans are roasted and sampled prior to final purchase. The Blue Lion Coffee House does not offer flavored beans or emphasize specialty syrup blended coffee drinks because the flavored beans and syrups mask the extraordinary taste and quality of our fine coffees. We start with the finest beans available to provide you the finest roasts and blends available. For those of you that do like the flavored coffees and drinks, we recommend starting with our fine coffee and use a syrup to lightly enhance the true flavor of the coffee selected. |
